Chinese Novel Human Abnormal Chromosomal Karyotype Database.

    State Key Lab of Medical Genetics is the only designated organization to authenticate the identification of novel abnormal chromosomal karyotypes in China. The database collects the novel human abnormal chromosomal karyotypes identified in China over last 30 years. These karyotypes are confirmed by Prof. Jia-hui Xia, an academician and the director of the laboratory, and his team. The database provides clinicians, scientists, scientific adminstrators, patients, and others who are interested in the information of human chromosomal karyotypes and related disease information.

    The database assmebles 2144 novel human abnormal karyotypes identified in China (excluding those in Tibet, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau) and their related disease information. The karyotypes include 4510 Chromosome Breakages (to view the images of chromosome breakage frequencies)and 57 Balanced Translocations between Chr. X and autosomes.
